I had so many nostalgic memories painting this today! Who else loved Fab Ice lollies during the summer holidays growing up?

I painted this in oil paint on an 8×16 inch canvas. It’s currently available on my eBay store.

When painting with oil I map out my basic shapes and layout in acrylic paint first. This both intensifies the final colour of the oil paint and gives the canvas an extra priming layer to protect the cotton from oil absorption.
